This Privacy Policy explains what information RiverLume Cleaning Co LLC ("RiverLume Cleaning," "we," "us," or "our") collects through our website and booking process, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

When you request or book a cleaning, we may collect:

Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number.
Service address where the cleaning will take place.
Booking details: the service you selected, preferred dates and arrival windows, extras, frequency, and notes you share with us.
Home details: square footage, number of rooms, home condition, and pets.
Entry instructions, if you choose to provide them, such as lockbox or door codes.
Marketing preferences, if you choose to opt in.
Payment-provider information: when online payment is used, Stripe processes the payment and shares limited details with us, such as payment status and amount. We do not store card numbers.
Basic technical data: information such as your IP address, which we use in hashed (non-readable) form to help prevent spam and abuse, along with the security logs needed to operate the website, and analytics and advertising measurement data as described in Analytics and Advertising Measurement.

You can see an instant estimate without giving us any contact information. While you build an estimate, it's kept in your browser's session storage so it's available when you continue to booking.

How We Use Your Information

To respond to your requests and schedule, perform, and follow up on your cleaning.
To send transactional emails, such as request receipts, confirmations, reminders, and payment links.
To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse of our website and booking system.
To understand and improve our services and website.

We send marketing messages only if you have separately agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to provide their services:

Website hosting (Netlify), which hosts our website and booking system.
Email delivery provider, which sends our transactional emails and, if you opt in, marketing emails.
Payment processor (Stripe), when online payment is used.
Analytics and advertising measurement (Google Analytics and Google Ads), with cookies only if you allow them.

Our website also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers when you visit.

Analytics and Advertising Measurement

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (for example, which pages are viewed, when an estimate is created, and when a booking request is submitted). If you also allow advertising measurement, we use Google Ads conversion tracking to learn whether our ads lead to booking requests. These Google services use cookies and similar technologies and receive information such as pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, the type of cleaning selected, an estimated price, and your booking reference.

We never send your name, email address, phone number, service address, or entry instructions to Google. Private links, such as your booking confirmation link, are removed before page addresses are shared.

We use Google Consent Mode. Until you choose, and if you decline, Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies stay off and Google receives only limited, cookieless signals (such as that a page was viewed or a booking request was submitted), which it uses in aggregate to estimate visits without identifying you. Cookies are set only if you allow them. You can accept all, allow analytics only, or decline, and you can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising measurement. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of our customers, staff, or others. We never sell your personal information.

Entry Instructions

Entry instructions you share during booking are stored securely and are visible only to authorized RiverLume Cleaning staff who need them to complete your service. We do not include entry codes in emails.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep booking records only as long as needed to provide our services, maintain accounting records, and meet our legal obligations. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it or make it no longer identifiable.

Your Choices

Access, correction, and deletion: you can ask us to provide, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing Admin@riverlumecleaning.com. We may need to keep certain records where required for accounting or legal reasons.
Marketing: you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails, by replying STOP to a text message, or by contacting us.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access restricted to authorized staff, and a payment processor that handles card details so we don't store them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and review our practices over time.

Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If we make significant changes, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know.
